Q: What is an Escape Room?
A: An Escape Room also know as an “escape room”, is a live-action team-based game where players work together to discover clues, solve puzzles, and accomplish tasks in one or more rooms in order to progress and accomplish a specific goal in a limited amount of time. Escape Medina is a 60-minute real-life adventure game were you and your team will assemble in a themed room and will have one hour to complete your mission and “escape” the room.

Q: Are you really locked in an Escape Room?
A: NO, Absolutely not if at any time you need to leave the room you can. If you need to use the restroom, or answer your phone you can, but remember the game and count down continues with out you! You will go out the door you entered!

Q: Is there a minimum age to play?
A: Due to the nature of our attraction, this is not recommended for children under the age of 12. Those 12 years of age and younger are required to have parent/guardian supervision, as well as parental/guardian participation during the game.

Q: When should I arrive for my game time?
A: Please arrive 15 minutes early for your scheduled time. Our rooms are set to run on time slots and your party runs the risk of losing your scheduled time or a reduced time to complete the room if you are not there at your scheduled time.

Q: What happens if we arrive late for our game?
A: To avoid scheduling delays for subsequent groups, we may need to reduce your game time or start without you. Please arrive early for check in and rules!

Q: Do I need a Reservation!
A: Yes, we run on time slots and the only way to play is to book your time online.

Q: Will I or my team play with stranger?
A: Yes, Rooms are booked as full as possible. You will play with strangers unless you do a private booking.

Q: Can I use my phone in the game room?
A: NO cell phones or any electronics can be used while in the game rooms! You must step out of the room to use your phone! There is no photography or videography permitted in the game rooms!

Q: What is the minimum and maximum number of players per room?
A: The minimum team size is 2 players per any room. The maximum team size for Pharaoh’s Curse is 10 players and Houdini’s Book of Secrets is 8 players.

Q: Is physical exertion required? (climbing, or crawling) Do I have to be physically fit to play?
A: NO. Our games require mental muscles, not physical ones. There is no heavy lifting or crawling required. You will not get dirty. But you will have to climb stairs to get to and from the game rooms!

Q: Can we get clues or help when playing?
A: Yes, If you get stuck, all you have to do is ask. The game master is always watching!

Q: Is it scary? Are there any horror elements?
A: Escape Medina games are thrilling… but not dangerous or scary! There are no horror elements.

Q: Do I need to book my whole group at the same time?
A: Yes, if you want to secure that date and time for all. Unless you book private. Date and times are first come and can fill up at any minute. All Bookings are done online!

Q: How much does it cost?
A: The price per person starts at $25, adults and chrildren are the same price.

Q: Are there refunds?
A: No, tickets are Non-Refundable but you may reschedule to another day and time if done 48 hours or more from your start time. You will not be processed a refund if you fail to participate because of a late arrival. No-Shows and late arrivals are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling!

Q: Can we drink or smoke while playing the game?
A: No, you may not take any food or drinks into the game rooms. If you must smoke you have to leave the building!
